Technology supports the reporting process, but experienced professionals remain at the centre of every diagnosis. Africa Telerad works with a network of qualified radiologists supported by clinical oversight, operational coordination and technical assistance. We review each radiologist's professional qualifications, registration, experience and areas of competence before onboarding, and reports are issued in accordance with the applicable licensing and clinical-governance requirements. This is what "qualified" means at Africa Telerad: verified, not assumed.
Every radiologist in our network is reviewed for professional qualifications, registration and experience before they are onboarded. We do not take a CV at face value. Verification happens before a radiologist ever reports a study for one of our client facilities.
Our network provides experience across all major imaging modalities, with access to radiologists who have additional expertise in areas such as neuroradiology, musculoskeletal, abdominal, cardiac and paediatric imaging. Cases can be assigned or escalated according to their clinical requirements.
Verification does not stop at onboarding. We support reporting quality through case review, clinical feedback, escalation of difficult studies and ongoing monitoring of report quality and turnaround performance.
